I am currently 35 years old, recently married to the love of my life, and have a significant vision impairment that has been with me since the age of 2. I can't see well enough to drive or recognize faces, but otherwise, I do not allow my disability to interfere with my personal happiness, or my love for cooking and food. My proudest accomplishment is that I completed culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu, and my last job was as a production baker at the New York New York hotel and resort on the Las Vegas strip. I spend my time looking for new employment and playing chef and homemaker for my wife while she works out of our home. I enjoy all types of cooking, such as baking when the weather is cool, and grilling and barbecue when the weather is insufferably hot. I also enjoy reading, politics and social issues, good music, and watching Jeopardy. I look forward to becoming a regular participant on this site and hope to get to know at least some of the other members here.
