Step 1: In a medium size bowl mix together the first four ingredients.
Step 2: Add the beef and sausage, mix lightly and make sure it's mixed together thoroughly.
Step 3: Place 1/4 cup of flour to a small bowl,then shape meat mixture into 1 inch balls (I got 24 balls out of the mixture ).Add and coat a few meatballs at a time with the flour.
Step 4: In a large skillet ,heat oil over medium high heat until hot but not smoking, add meatballs and cook until lightly browned.
Step 5: If needed drain meatballs and return to skillet,add 2 cups of broth,bring to boil.
Step 6: Reduce heat ,cover and simmer until meatballs are cooked through,about 6 minutes.
Step 7: Remove meatballs with slotted spoon .Add the remaining flour to broth and stir until smooth.
Step 8: Bring sauce back up to boil,cook and stir until desired thickness is reached.
Step 9: Place meatballs back into pan and heat through.
Step 10: Serve over your favorite starchy item.
