"This has been my most favorite rib recipe for the longest time. My kids have always requested this dish when they come home during the summer.(BBQ time!!) I hope you will enjoy this dish. It is from a cook book called "HOT & SPICY" by Better Homes Gardens that I picked up at the store. I have a couple of excellent recipes out of this book. ENJOY!!! Cooking time includes chill time."

Step 11

Bring to a boil.

Step 12

These ribs were the hit at my holiday party! I doubled the recipe for the crowd I was having. They went fast! I loved the flavors of the rub and sauce together. So delicious cooked on the grill!

I planned these for a backyard BBQ and it was rained out. The ribs ended up setting in the rub more than 24 hours and then cooked in the oven. I set them on a wire rack in the roasting pan, covered with foil, and started slathering on the sauce the last 30 minutes. The ribs turned out very tender and the sauce was terrific. It was sweet, smoky, and mustardy. We used the leftover sauce the next day with chicken strips. "Yum! The ribs were served with your marinated-new-potato-salad-#21976 and traditional BBQ accompaniments.
