"Did you guys know that GORP is a real thing? I always thought it was just a joke until I read what it really means. GORP stands for GOOD OLD RAISINS & PEANUTS. I suppose that as long as you've got raisins & peanuts in your version, you can do whatever you want to get the rest. It's like a trail mix w/a funky name, but trail mixes seem to have expanded the concept. GORP is smaller than a trail mix. Since my 10 yr old grandson is coming to Iceland in Sept, his AMMA needs to have an energy booster ready so he can explore the country. The real truth is it's just another way to spoil him while he's here w/us! :-)"

What's not to love about this recipe...I cut it in half...the only ingredient I didn't have on hand were the M&M's...a small bag was the perfect amount...I taking this on a small road trip with my daughter...made for "For Your Consideration" tag game...

Smells Like Salad

I used equal parts of all the ingredients. I didn't realize that M&Ms comes in so many different flavors now. We tried with 'Crispy' M&Ms and M&Ms with pretzels. Fun snack today! I used Trader Joe's orange essence cranberries. Made for the FTT game.
