Kooking Kathy

One of the best cookies I have made in a long time. My kids couldn't leave them alone!

KATO BABY

5 *'s all the way breezer. Wow, are these cookies good. So much flavor. They are soft and chewy and very satisfying. We really enjoyed these tasty treats, they taste just like date squares but in cookie form. Made exactly as written but omitted the nuts as dh is allergic. I made half the batch for two of us and ended up with 24 large beautiful treats. Thanks for sharing a recipe that will be made again and again. Made FYC tag game.
