"This recipe was written for the FF&F site RSC game. While the title is descriptive, it would be even moreso if titled "Where There's A Will, There's A Way CLAM DIP". The opening of a Costco store here Reykjavik resolved many of my ingredient issues, but others still exist. I've never seen canned minced clams & rarely see green onions or fresh cilantro. Known for being creative & determined (Siggi calls it stubborn), I did my due diligence on the net, wrote the recipe & sent it to my sister in Dallas. She was kind enough to solve my ingredient issues by making & photographing it for me. After all that, how could you not be tempted try it & ENJOY?!"

I changed this up just a little, using 1/2 cup sour cream with the block of cream cheese, adding juice from 1/2 of a lemon, and decreasing the Worcestershire sauce to 1/2 tsp. I added 1 stalk of diced celery and omitted the garnish of cilantro. I added a sprinkling of salt and pepper and parsley flakes on top and served with pita wedges, and it was delicious!

Sorry, this didn’t quite work for us. It had great flavor (if a little heavy on the Worcestershire, though) but we didn’t like the texture. Too much a cheese spread rather than a dip. I think I would cut the amount of cream cheese and add much more sour cream, to make it lighter.

What a lovely dip twisted. We enjoyed this subtle flavored dip very much, it's unique. It had a lovely flavor and great textures. Great use of game ingredients. I knew you'd be good at this... so happy you are playing. Made for Round 1 - RSC
