"These cookies are chewy and delicious, and great for the cookie trays for family and friends for Christmas. A few tips: Don't over mix these cookies or they will come out flat. Cream the butter and sugar for about 4-5 minutes until nice and fluffy. Also, add the dry ingredients and mix by hand just until everything is blended together, and chill the dough for a couple of hours before baking. Over baking can also cause your cookies to flatten out. They continue to cook even after taking them out of the oven, so don't overcook!"

Wonderful cookies. Made as directed, except for skipping the nuts, I was able to get 40 cookies. These will go on a cookie tray for Christmas Eve. Thanks for sharing this keeper cookie recipe!
