"I'm an avid fan of flavored butters, use them often as flavor enhancers in a variety of recipes, have a cookbook devoted to them & am pleased to add this recipe to my collection. It's actually a part of a recipe I found at the goodfooddotcomdotau website, but I didn't want to limit its use to a single recipe. Metric values were used by the recipe & were rounded by me to the nearest US imperial measurement using an internet conversion table. The # of servings will depend on the use you select - I estimated 6 servings. ENJOY!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat a sml saucepan over low heat & add about 1 tbsp of butter. Add the onion & garlic. Cook (stirring often) for approx 10 min. Add the vinegar & season w/salt & pepper. Then continue cooking for another 10-15 min until the onion is golden brown.
Step 2
Allow to cool to room temp. Stir through the remaining butter & add the parsley. Hold at room temp if ready to use or mold into a log using cling wrap & refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
