Been a bitter cold winter and this week a major blizzard, the aroma of a simmering pot of soup is comforting and one as delicious and hearty as this made for a wonderful evening meal. A real winner! Enjoyed, looking to a rerun at lunch.

I can see why this soup is popular! It is hearty and flavourful. I left the veggies rustic and finished with a good grinding of pepper. DH gave it thumbs up! Thanks for sharing Mike! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.
