"Buffalo Meat is so lean and very tasty. We have a buffalo ranch near by where I can buy the ground meat and also at a local grocery store. Choose a BBQ sauce that has a smokey flavour. Add your favorite extras like some bacon, chutney, relish, mustard etc. Your burger, your choice. This recipe was originally from Simply Recipes with some changes by me. The texture of theburgers is perfect to BBQ - Medium heat apprx 6 minutes each side. Try to only flip once don't press down on them while cooking."

I mixed the buffalo meat with the chopped fresh sage, onion, garlic, salt and pepper then cooked the patties on the grill over medium-high until just a bit pink in the middle (about 4 minutes per side). I then brushed the patties with BBQ sauce and placed them on toasted buns then topped them with fresh sliced tomatoes and lettuce. These burgers were very tasty, we all enjoyed them!!
