What a great cocktail! I love the taste of the Luxardo, and it goes so well with the Malibu rum! For the bubbly, I used a lemon-lime seltzer, unsweetened. The drink wasn't too sweet, which I love! Adding a bit of maraschino cherry juice would make it a pretty pink color, but I was afraid it would add too much sweetness. Next time, though, I'll throw in a cherry just for the pop of color.

Last year I bought a bottle of the maraschino liqueur for a recipe I never got around to making, so I finally cracked it open for this. Very refreshing, subtle drink. My liqueur is clear, so no pink hue in drink.

Wow, what a great cocktail. I loved it. Sweet, tart and tangy with a strong taste of coconut. So very good. Best of all I always have these ingredients in the house. Yummy. I used my favorite Lemonade Soda in this drink, so happy that I did. Happily made FYC tag game.

Made this to start out our Cuban themed dinner on this warm summer evening and it was enjoyed by all. So light, cool. With the maraschino liqueur I was afraid it'd be to sweet, but it wasn't. It was enjoyed by all and I couldn't resist adding one cherry to the glass

Just really needed a cocktail on this Friday night and this drink did the trick. It's refreshing and I love the lime with the coconut rum, etc. This is the first time that I've had the maraschino liquer and it's a bit of an acquired taste for me. Thank you Linky for sharing.

This cocktail was so tasty, and very pretty as well. I admit I added a bit of maraschino cherry juice, I just can't help myself, I love those little cherries! The lime juice added a citrusy flavor so the drink was not too sweet. This one could sneak up on you! Delicious!
