" I don't do many desserts but company was coming, like in 2 hours, so I hustled out to the local bakery and bought 2 sponge cakes, had the other ingredients at home. I came up with this recipe and my friends raved about it so I decided to share it with you. It is almost like a trifle"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Slice your sponge cakes throught the middle so you end up with four slices each about 1/2 inch thick

Step 2

Place one piece in an attractive dish, preferably clear glass so you will be able to see the layers. The dish should be large enough that the layer can lay flat.

Step 3

Add 1cup of blueberries and 1cup of yogurt on the layer

Step 4

Add another layer and drizzle on the sherry then add another cup of blueberries and 1 cup yogurt

Step 5

Continue with the next two layer ending up with yogurt and blueberries on top

Step 6

Refrigerate until serving A nice touch but not necessary is to top it off with whipped cream or ice cream
