Sorry NELady I missed this, I have been making streusel topping for many years, basically mix with a fork or crumble in with my fingers until it's mixed together and crumbly. I use room temperature butter, if melting be sure it doesn't get hot. Hope that helps. Should I go in and add the butter best at room temperature?
