Orange Marmalade
Orange Marmalade
O.k... Here's my story ~
This family has never eaten Marmalade EVER!
Sooo, I came across this recipe Orange Ginger Chicken ~ by QueenBea.
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/orange ... icken-5071
Grrrreeeeatt recipe.... but it needed orange marmalade in the ingredients, so I went and bought the best on the shelf! Even though at the time I thought ....well I only have to use half...suppose the rest is chook food!
WELL.... DH has taken a liking to it!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE..... he has hated Marmalade forever!!!
So DH went out and bought the home brand (you know the cheapest you can get)
and could not understand why it had no rind and just all jell and sugar.
NOW ..... here is my crisis... he likes the good stuff (won't say what brand)
Does anyone have a fantastic (tried and true) Orange Marmalade recipe they could share ... It will save me a fortune and I will be forever indebted to you. ;)
Thanks.... Hoping you can help.

This is the only one I have ever used. I cut back the sugar just a bit, my oranges were smaller, so used an extra 2 oranges. And, it took a bit longer for it to come to temp. But, that can depend on the pot and your stove.
Super easy. Classic marmalade.

Re: Orange Marmalade
This a freezer jar method. No canning involved. I have made this once before; and it was quite good. I do the same method for strawberry jam all the time.
