HF, never thought of that. But, I bet it would be a great flavor. Well done.
59 ... I'm a sucker for pierogies; I have to pan saute with onions too. My problem ... I eat way too many.

Sounds great Heather. Did you ever try it with crushed French's Onion Rings in the can? Mix some mayo with salt, pepper and grated parmesan cheese. Then coat in the crushed onion rings. Bake on a baking rack on a cookie sheet in the oven for 40 minutes at 400° F.HeatherFeather wrote:Last night I made pork rind breaded chicken breasts with green beans and white corn. Loved how the chicken turned out. Just crushed pork rinds with seasonings and egg white to make them stick, then pan fried in a little avocado oil.

Decided to make some Asian meatballs with the ground turkey, and serve it over rice with an Asian sauce made with hoisin sauce, low-sodium soy, a very little bit of sesame oil, a little beef broth and garlic, cooked on low till slightly thickened.

No, I have never tried it with the fried onions. Sounds like a good way to use up extras after a holiday. My bf smelled the chicken cooking and wondered if I had coated it in Frunions, even though I hadn't. I bet the onions would taste pretty good!lovinretirement wrote:Sounds great Heather.
